Massively overpriced, since it's in the King of Prussia Mall. I don't have much to say about it--it's standard food court fare, but I would pick this over all the other Asian restaurants in KoP. The rest of them serve the most pathetic imitation Asian food I have ever seen. At least this one has sushi. That said... onto my real reason for leaving this positive review. THE SESAME CHICKEN. An unexpected bombshell. I am usually a vegetarian, and make occasional allowances for meat, usually only with Asian food, as I was brought up in Asia and most of my home "comfort" food involves Chinese-style chicken. I love sesame chicken and have eaten a lot of it before going veggie. And the sesame chicken here is the best I have ever tasted. It's sweet and savory at the same time without being as sweet as sweet-and-sour. The rice is also perfect--not too sticky or hard, as most American "Asian" rice is, but soft and steamed and mildly sticky. Ahhh, love.

Tokyo Bay offers good food at slightly higher prices than other Japanese fast-food restaurants. It's not so suprising that it's a little pricey considering it's located in the King of Prussia Mall, and it's probably some expensive rent they have to pay. I usually order their two-dish (general tso chicken and sauteed tofu) combo platter with fried rice. I HIGHLY recommend trying their iced green tea! It's brewed to perfection! :) My meal usually comes up to a little over $11, including tax. Having lunch here once in a while won't break the bank. If you're opting for something much less that'll fill you up, you can't go wrong with Taco Bell or Burger King's value menu.

I am vacillating bewteen a 2 and a 3. Grabbed a quick sushi (4 pieces of nigiri and 1/2 a california roll) and it was $12.00 and change after tax. Yikes. The Salmon was fine - but the tuna tasted a bit old. Mall Sushi. Serves me right, I should know better. I will not be back in a hurry and if I return I will try the "cooked" food instead. The hot food looked OK but there were alot of fried items.

So why did I come here? I saw the reviews. I knew it was overpriced. That usually scares me away. So why? Bottom line, I was in the mall already, I was craving sushi, and this now appears to be the only choice in the mall. So I bit the bullet and made up for the cost by people watching while eating my sushi. Yes it's overpriced. I got less than I normally would have as a result. I did tuna avocado roll and a regular avocado roll. Taste wise, not bad. I'd even classify it as decent sushi. But I've had better, for cheaper. Something about buying it out of a case in a plastic tin seems to throw off the texture to me. I'll come here only if I have to. It won't be a sushi destination in my rotation.

In a word, "dreadful." I ordered the spicy chicken and the skinny noodles. I arrived before noon so maybe that's why both items tasted as if they had been left over from the day before. The mushy chicken was served in an insipid sauce and the noodles tasted as if they had been cooked in dishwater. The best part of the meal was the lemonade. I have eaten here several times in the past and enjoyed my choices. I don't know what has happened, but I will not return to find out.

This place is alright if you'd like to grab a quick lunch. The first time I went, I got chicken with broccoli and fried rice. The chicken, although covered in sauce (resembling what usually comes with a can of dog food), managed to be completely tasteless. The next time I came with some coworkers, we tried the sesame chicken and fried rice. The sesame chicken was wonderfully sweet and the fried rice was decent (though not the best). They also sell sushi. One of my coworkers ordered an order of octopus, so if you're feeling adventurous, it's definitely on the menu! The service is usually pretty good though, so I'll pop in from time to time.

Tokyo Bay serves Japanese "fast food" at the upstairs King of Prussia Plaza food court. Table and bar-style seating is available inside or "outside" in the mall. Food is dependably good. I've tried: - The eel dish - love this! A display shows dishes with numbered labels; eel is one, and No. 9 or 14? Comes with rice, yellow radish, and pink pickles. - Sushi bento box. Not bad. Comes with a salad, sushi, rice. - Combination platters. Choose a few dishes, like lo mein or thin noodles, bourbon or spicy chicken, etc. The choices are less greasy (and less tasty?) than Chinese mall platters. To remedy this, I request hot sauce at the cashier. - Sushi. Made and stocked in a bin up front, take what you want to the register. I also saw kimchi, which I have to try one of these days. Tokyo Bay is a little pricey but if you're low on cash, credit cards are accepted. For a Japanese fix, it does in a pinch.

Good sushi but too expensive! I got a Cali roll and Spicy Tuna roll plus a Snapple and my total was $17. Ummmm what?! At my local spot it's $10. That being said, the sushi was good and fresh.

Overall, I'm not a huge fan of fast Chinese food. I find it low quality. But my family lives an hour away and this is the go to place for chinese for us. Whenever we are in the area we grab some of this. The sushi, especially the Tokyo roll, is great. Almost every time I get the Chicken Teriyaki with fried rice and noodles. The chicken teriyaki is superb, best I've ever had. The other meats are pretty good. That being said, the service isn't great and it is expensive, but all that is because its a popular restaurant at King of Prussia mall. 5 stars because its the best fast chinese place I know.

Yuck.. their gyudon was terrible.. It is not even done right... Wrong meat, wrong sauce... Should had walked away when I heard them speaking Mandarin. The way they made the sauce was the typical way you would make sauces for Chinese dishes.. with tons of corn starch.. Will never come back again!

By normal mall-food standards this place is alright, but a bit pricy for what you get (and that would be average sushi rolls, limp tempura, and fairly decent udon). This place earns a recommendation by default, as you can do worse. But unless you absolutely must eat inside of the mall, go somewhere else.

This place is way overpriced for the food they give you, but they do serve a decent tonkatsu plate which I can't find anywhere else in the area. Haven't tried the sushi here because the price is pretty outrageous.

I ordered sashimi regular on the big menu board behind the counter. It said 5 kinds of sashimi plus two more of your choice. I had to order to a Japanese man who did not speak any english at all. He can only communicate with gestures or you can point to the item. So I didn't get my two additional choices of sashimi. And it was expensive $27. It's so frustrating!!!. I will never eat there again!!!
